Winter Jasmine - Jasminum nudiflorum
Winter jasmine came to Europe from China in 1844 and has been conquering hearts since then. It is universal in use - it can grow as a vine, or as a shrub and cut as a hedge. It has delicate shoots, light green throughout the year, which gives an evergreen impression. However, the biggest decoration is yellow flowers (approx. 2,5 cm diameter) that appear in winter or early spring, before leaf development (last winter in the Netherlands was so warm that it bloomed already in November).
It grows up to 3 m in height and width, likes sunny or semi-shaded positions.
In our nursery you can find it in P9 at a price of 0.85€

Sarcococca confusa - sweet box - a touch of summer in the middle of winter
This evergreen plant, with a weird name, is a great solution for shady places. It grows up to about 1.5 m, it tolerates cutting well, so you can shape it freely. However, its biggest attraction is flowers that appear in winter. They are delicate and small, set along the entire length of the shoots. And they smell. They smell so strong and sweet that for a moment we forget about the winter gray and almost feel the warm touch of the sun on the skin ...
Provide your clients with a dose of summer in the middle of winter. Sarcococca confusa is available in P9 at the price of 1,00€.
P.S. Flowers are followed by red, then black, glancing berries.

Escallonia - elegant in winter, glamorous in summer
Escallonia, the only one in today's collection, blooms in summer - in June / July and the second time in September. We added it here because of the evergreen, elegant leaves with serrated edges in the color of bottle green.
Depending on the variety, it grows up to 30-100 cm in height and width. It tolerates cutting very well, so we can shape it freely. It is best to trim it into a pyramid shape, thanks to which even the lower shoots will get the necessary dose of sun.
Escallonia blooms on this year's shoots and requires a sunny position.
Check the available varieties in P9 and P12 at the price of 0,75€ and 1,25€.
