Some plants surprise every year

There are plants that, no matter how many times you see them, every time attract attention.
Every year, our editor-in-chief, when light purple, round, tiny fruit appears on Callicarpa bodinieri, stops the car in the middle of the street to take a picture of them. She looks under the leaves of Lonicera nitida to see if the shiny purple berries have already appeared. She stops as if walled up at the sight of red corals on the regular Cotoneaster horizontalis shoots.
And so for 20 years ;)

It is worth getting interested in these plants. They bring colors and a unique atmosphere to winter gardens and attract birds who like their fruits.
