What's sweet, small, and not fattening?

Buddleja davidii Butterfly Candy® of course!
A group of 6 varieties of butterfly bush is an excellent option for those who want to enjoy the beauty of these plants on the terrace, in a small garden, or want to create a low, colorful composition. Buddlejas Butterfly Candy® grow to about 80 cm in height and have wide and a naturally rounded habit. They bloom profusely (remember to advise your retail customers to cut them in spring) and delight with a wealth of colors - from pure white, through delicate, sweet pink (the name obliges), to various shades of purple - cool, lavender, and warm, deep and elegant.

An additional bonus of Buddlejas Butterfly Candy® is their sweet, delicate scent - pleasant for us, and extremely attractive to butterflies and other pollinating insects. (We have written so many times about the joy of watching insects come to the garden that we will skip this aspect this time.)

Buddlejas Butterfly Candy® grow best and bloom most abundantly in sunny, sheltered places, in well-drained soil. They tolerate frosts down to about -18ºC.

And now a few words about colors:
  • Little Ruby - with ruby-red flowers. The variety won the Gold Award KVBC Summer Challenge 2021 and a silver medal in the competition of plant novelties at the exhibition Green is Life in Warsaw 2022.
  • Little Pink - with flowers in a sweet, pink color, won the Silver Award KVBC Summer Challenge 2021.
  • Lila Sweetheart - a variety with large inflorescences, filled with lilac flowers with a yellow heart. She is the winner of the KVBC Summer Challenge 2021 Bronze Award.
  • Little Lila with lilac flowers, also won the Bronze Award KVBC Summer Challenge 2021.
  • Little Purple, with the darkest, intensely purple flowers, also gained recognition in the eyes of the jury and won the Bronze Award KVBC Summer Challenge 2021.
  • Little White, is the last in the series, with pure white flowers (for the record, we will add that this variety also won the Bronze Award KVBC Summer Challenge 2021).

Don't ask us which variety we recommend, because we recommend them all.

Buddlejas are available in P9 and P12 containers, and some varieties are in very limited quantities, so... don't wait, send your order as soon as possible.
The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
  • P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
  • P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
  • P14, C2 -> 50 pcs / variety
  • C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety

FAQ:

How should I make my order?

Complete the "order" column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details, and the expected date of receipt of the order - this will help us plan work in the nursery.

When will my order be confirmed?

Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours (working days). If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.

When can I pick up my order?

We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April - 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from 11-9-2023 till 24-5-2024.

I'm a new customer, when do I have to pay?

We accept cash payments, credit cards, and bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
