September spoils us with truly summer weather. Nature compensates for the gray and rainy summer weeks, and everywhere shines with the colors of perennials, plumes of ornamental grasses, delicate flowers of
Caryopteris, visited by numerous bees, colorful flowers of
Potentilla, and many, many others. Everything sparkles and shines in the sun.
And we, like every year, can't help but admire that Potentilla, so modest and inconspicuous in spring, blooms so amazingly in summer that it's hard to take your eyes off it.
Here and there, in the fields in our nursery, you can see
colorful patches filled with gold, white, orange, red, and pink. In various shades. From strong, bold colors to delicate, pastel colors. We see the same colors in cities, in public plantings, and in private gardens. In traditional and modern arrangements. Multi-colored compositions and more subdued ones in one tone.
Planted in large groups, Potentilla works as a taller ground cover plant. It looks nice as a border of a flower bed or the middle floor of mixed arrangements.
Potentilla fits everywhere. It blooms most beautifully in sunny positions and is not demanding. Spring, strong pruning promotes thickening and lush flowering.
