Dwarf pines
Today, the stars of our newsletter are dwarf pines. All of them are frost-resistant and have low soil requirements. They require sunny locations and light, sandy soil. They are ideal for containers, small gardens, heathlands, and rock gardens. And they are beautiful, with a variety of shapes and colors.

The first is Pinus mugo 'Winter Gold', which is known for its golden-colored winter needles, which enliven gray-winter gardens. Young plants have a flattened ball shape; with time, they rise. After 10 years, they reach about 1 m in height and 1.5 m in diameter.

Another dwarf pine is the very beautiful Pinus nigra 'Hornibrookiana', which grows irregularly in width, reaching about 1.5 m in diameter and less than a meter in height. It has nice, dark green needles and lighter winter buds. Available from us in the P14 container.

The last pine (for today) is Pinus mugo 'Sherwood Compact', a slow-growing dwarf pine that grows 4-5 cm per year and in 10 years reaches about 0.5 m in height and 0.6 m in diameter. It has a nice, regular shape of a flattened ball, and short but very dense needles, which give it a fluffy appearance. It looks beautiful in rock gardens, on heathlands, and in compositions with other dwarf plants. In our nursery, it is available in the P14 container.

- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- P14, C2 -> 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety

FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the "order" column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details, and the expected date of receipt of the order - this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours (working days). If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April - 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from 09-09-2024 till 03-05-2025.
I'm a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments, credit cards, and bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
