Our observations show that more and more people are interested in fruit cultivation in their own gardens and even on balconies. (Almost) everyone dreams of fresh, aromatic, sun-scented, sweet fruit. Available at your fingertips. Grown with care and attention, self-planted, trimmed, fertilized, and harvested.
The good news is that you can still help your clients turn these dreams into reality.
You can still order
fruit plants in P9 and P12 - suitable for immediate sale, planting in the ground on a plantation, or planting into larger containers for sale in summer or autumn. As usual, all plants are well-rooted.
Feel free to choose from delicacies such as
Ribes uva-crispa. Varieties with red, sweet fruit and delicate skin, perfect for direct consumption or for preserves ('Achilles' and 'Hinnonmäki Röd'). Fruits of the green variety ('Hinnonmäki Grön'), slightly more dry in taste, processed into jam, enrich the taste of both sweet and salty dishes.
Red currant
Ribes r. 'Rosetta' (the last variety we have left) looks and tastes great as an addition to desserts, cakes, and drinks, and processed into jam will enrich winter meals.
For the undecided, we have
Ribes 'Jostaberry' - a sensational combination of both of the above types, which provides juicy, expressive fruit.
For all those who prefer delicate, aromatic sweetness, we have several varieties of summer
raspberries that bear fruit in June-July and will satisfy the tastes of the most sophisticated gourmets.
What about
blackberries with large, appetizing fruits that combine tempting sweetness emphasized with a sour aftertaste? Eaten fresh, straight from the bush, added to cakes or ice cream, or made into jam, they taste delicious!
And again something for the undecided -
Rubus 'Tayberry', a hybrid that took the best of both parents - the sweetness of raspberries and large fruits characteristic of blackberries. And as a special bonus - the appetizing color of the fruit and the lack of creeping shoots, make it easy to keep in check.
Most of the varieties that we still offer at the moment are suitable for
amateur cultivation and professional commodity plantations.
