• Acer palmatum 'Atropurpureum' - a small tree with an openwork crown that grows up to 5-8 m in height. The fan-shaped leaves are dark red in summer, in autumn they acquire a warmer orange color.

• 'Anna'® is a dwarf, dense variety that grows to only 30 cm in height after 6 years. It has a compact, upright habit. The leaves are two-colored - sunny yellow in the center and orange on the edge.
• 'Atropurpurea Nana' is a well-known variety with the shape of a flattened ball that grows up to 60 cm in height and 1 m in diameter. Very dark, purple-brown leaves, crimson in autumn
