Everyone has been waiting for it
Today we present something that everyone has been waiting for. Hydrangeas!
Different species, new varieties, new possibilities, and new aesthetic experiences.
The first star is Hydrangea arborescens Candybelle® Sorbet ('Hyso 22'PBR) with healthy, pretty leaves and very dark, pink flowers (the color of raspberry sorbet). It grows to about 100 cm in height and similar width and is frost-resistant down to -25 ºC.
Hydrangea macrophylla ECLIPSE®, is distinguished by dark purple leaves that maintain their color throughout the season, even in intense sunlight. Dark flowers appear on old and new shoots. It is resistant to diseases, including powdery mildew and Cercospora leaf spot disease. It grows to 100-150 cm in height and width.
We are introducing 3 new varieties of Hydrange paniculata:
Hydrangea paniculata Bonfire ('GRHP12'PBR) with strong shoots and impressive flowers that change color during the season from dashing lime green-white hues, through green-pink, to intense pink. It looks beautiful in gardens, urban flowerbeds, and containers. It grows to about 120 cm in height and width and is frost-resistant down to -30 ºC.
Hydrangea paniculata Groundbreaker® Blush ('LC NO21'PBR), is an amazing addition to the collection of miniature hydrangeas. Groundbreaker® grows to only 30-40 cm in height, it is a great groundcover, for containers and as a low layer of any plant compositions. It produces numerous shoots and pure white flowers, which cover it for at least 100 days a year. It is frost-resistant down to -30 ºC.
Hydrangea paniculata Pixio ('GRHP11'PBR) is ideal for gardens, public plantings, and patio containers. It reaches about 80 cm in height and width. It produces strong shoots and numerous flowers that turn pink. It is frost-resistant down to -30 ºC.
Hydrangea quercifolia Tara ('BIV01'PBR) with double, white flowers that tightly fill large inflorescences. The leaves, green in summer, turn wonderful shades of brown and red in autumn, perfectly matching autumn landscapes. Tara grows to about 120 cm in height and width and is frost-resistant to -25 ºC.
And finally, there are two varieties of Hydrangea serrata: 'Morning Glory' PBR and 'Magic Sunset' PBR.
Hydrangea serrata 'Morning Glory' (pbr) is one of the few varieties with double flowers, appearing on one-year-old shoots. The inflorescences consist of small, blue fertile flowers surrounded by large, double blue infertile flowers. They look beautiful against the background of dark green, shiny leaves (which turn red in autumn). It grows to about 1 height and width.
Hydrangea serrata 'Magic Sunset' (pbr) has a compact, spherical shape, growing to about 1 m in height and width. The inflorescences are composed of small, blue fertile flowers and large, pink infertile flowers (which turn lavender and dark blue).
