We would not be ourselves if we had not introduced new plants to our offer for the new season (we plan to publish the new list in mid-July).
Today, we're presenting a bit of classic and a bit of exoticism, all thanks to Breederplants, who are gradually expanding their portfolio. |

A bit of classic... Hydrangea paniculata Petite®
|
|
|
We start with the classic, Hydrangea paniculata, but in a miniature version.
As Ronald Laman (Breederplants) points out: "The Hydrangea paniculata Petite® series is in line with the "urban jungle" trend, as all varieties are small in size, so they are great for containers on balconies and terraces. They start flowering very early in the season (the first flowers appear in June) and change their colors in a spectacular way from creamy, white, and greenish to raspberry and deep, intense red."
Let us add that all varieties bloom on one-year-old shoots and are fully frost-resistant (down to -25°C). They look beautiful when planted in groups, in flower beds and pots, in gardens, and in city greenery.
In the upcoming season you will find all the varieties of this miniature but significant series of Hydrangea paniculata Petite®:
- Petite® Cherry PBR - 50 cm high and 40 cm wide
- Petite® Flori PBR - 80 cm high and 60 cm wide
- Petite® Lantern PBR - 80 cm high and 40 cm wide
- Petite® Star PBR - 60 cm high and 90 cm wide

Exotic ... Black Diamonds ...
|
|
|
Exoticism in the upcoming season is represented by diamonds ... Black Diamonds, meaning 9 amazing varieties of Lagerstroemia indica Black Diamond® (also from Breederplants).
Plants that no one passes indifferently, because they attract the eye with expressive, black leaves and flowers in vivid, contrasting colors - from pure white, through delicate pink, to shades of purple and fiery red.
They look great in large pots, in the form of natural or formed hedges, or as small trees. Lagerstroemia indica Black Diamond® are frost-resistant down to about -18°C and, depending on the variety, grow up to 2-3 m high and 2 m wide.
Here they are! Lagerstroemia indica Black Diamond® in 9 amazing varieties:
- Pure White with shining white flowers
- Blush with flowers with a delicate pink blush
- Shell Pink - vivid pink
- Crimson Red, Red Hot, and Best Red, a group in various shades of red - from slightly muffled, gentle, to strong, sensual, fiery
- Purely Purple in a refined purple color
- Lavender Lace, i.e. airy, delicate, lavender
- Mystic Magenta which, is said, you either love or hate at first sight.
