Reference to the plant competitions
The exhibition season is now behind us, and the first plants from this year's offer have left the nursery (we remind you that we have been making autumn shipments for a week now).
We are happy to announce that several plants entered in plant competitions during exhibitions of last weeks are available in our offer.
Let's start with Vitex agnus castus 'Queen Bee'™, which produces striking, lavender-blue flowers arranged in graceful, elongated clusters.
The flower clusters grow to about 25 cm long and attract pollinators. QUEEN BEE has prolonged flowering starting in June and has vigorous repeat flowering. The leaf is palmate and consists of five to seven lanceolate leaves. The leaf color is grey-green. The plant has an impressive tolerance to drought, heat, and cold compared to other Vitex varieties. This shrub can reach a height of 2 to 3 meters, depending on growing conditions and pruning. QUEEN BEE is ideal for creating a colorful hedge or a striking focal point in the garden.
We also draw your attention to Symphoricarpos 'Magical', a mix of snowberries available in various colors such as white, shades of pink, purple, and red, which are available from us in several magically beautiful varieties:
- 'Magical Avalanche'® with snow-white berries
- 'Magical Berry Christmas'® with red berries
- 'Magical Candy'® with purple-pink berries
- 'Magical Pink Cushion'® with pink berries
- 'Magical Sweet'® with light pink berries
All beautiful, nicely branched, well-rooted. The snowberry is an attractive plant with numerous pearl-shaped berries in diverse colors. It can grow on almost all types of soil. In autumn and winter, when most plants and trees have lost their glory, the snowberry stands out with its clusters of white and pearl-shaped berries. Symphoricarpos 'Magical' is particularly hardy!
And one more reference to the plant competitions of recent weeks, namely Thuja pl. 'Whipcord', whose sister with golden shoots was awarded a silver medal at the Warsaw exhibition Green is Life.
Thuja pl. 'Whipcord' is a beautiful, dwarf variety with arching, hanging shoots. Young shoots are green, older ones dark green, and brown in autumn and winter. It is attractive all year round and looks beautifully grafted onto a trunk. It grows to about 1.5 m in height and is similar in width. And most importantly, it is still available in our offer!
