You still have time so that your customers can plant big, pretty, and profusely flowering plants in the summer. And do something good for the world again.
It's half joking, half serious. We know that more and more people pay attention to the impact they have on the environment when choosing plants. We strongly encourage everyone to plant bee-friendly plants such as
flowering perennials, and shrubs such as Buddleja, Weigela, Spiraea, and Caryopteris.
The last one has a special place in our hearts because every year it brings us a lot of joy when we see the Caryopteris beds come to life. Around August, the movement begins, the bustle begins, and the buzzing of delicate bee wings reaches the office. We use the breaks for fascinating observations of our guests, who do not know the breaks and tirelessly collect nectar and pollen.
Caryopteris is an excellent source of food for insects in the second half of summer, helping them get stronger before winter, which increases their chances of surviving the cold months.
But to the point.
We have some great Caryopteris varieties in our collection.
They all
bloom like crazy, and before flowering,
they are a sensational color accent. Their silver (silver-green) leaves perfectly emphasize the red of flowers or leaves of other plants. The cool shade of leaves and purple or blue flowers are simple, yet effective and look stylish in modern industrial settings.
Varieties with green-yellow leaves, such as
'Summer Sorbet' PBR brighten the space, especially planted against a dark green background or in the company of purple flowering plants.
Of course, not everyone has a garden, but fortunately, Caryopteris works
perfectly well in a large pot. Spring pruning, fertilization with a long-acting fertilizer, regular watering, and plenty of sunlight are a guarantee of success. And successful nature observations ;)
Check which varieties are still available to us. Don't hesitate to place an order so you can replant them from P9 to larger containers on time.
They will be ready for sale this summer!
