Fresh structure for the spring season
May is all about fresh growth, layered textures and the first real color contrasts in the garden. Perennials and ornamental grasses now begin to create the combinations customers are looking for: soft flowering, fresh foliage and structure that carries through the season. Across our assortment, these selections stand out for both presentation value and versatility in retail and landscaping concepts.

Woodland softness with strong retail appeal:
Tiarella cordifolia

Tiarella cordifolia brings a natural, airy character to shaded plantings and mixed perennial concepts. Its fresh green foliage and delicate foam-like flowers create a soft seasonal look, while the compact habit makes it highly versatile for both retail and landscaping use. Especially during this stage of the season, its fresh woodland appearance fits perfectly within current natural garden trends.

Available in P9 liners.

Unexpected summer color accents:
Phlox (p) ‘Orchid Yellow’ & ‘Orchid Green’

These distinctive Phlox selections bring a contemporary twist to the traditional summer Phlox assortment. Both ‘Orchid Yellow’ and ‘Orchid Green’ combine soft orchid-like tones with fresh green nuances, making them stand out immediately among classic summer flowering varieties. Ideal for customers looking for unusual color combinations with strong presentation value at retail level.

Both are available in P12 liners.

Contemporary peonies with premium impact:
Paeonia itoh GC® ‘Noa Joly’ & ‘Candy Apple’

Itoh peonies combine the rich flowering performance of traditional peonies with a strong, modern plant structure. Within the Garden Candy® series, both ‘Noa Joly’ and ‘Candy Apple’ stand out thanks to their luxurious appearance and impressive flower presentation. Vibrant colors, large, eye-catching flowers, these peonies are ideal for premium perennial concepts and seasonal impulse sales.

Available in P14.

Dark foliage with year-round structure:
Ophiopogon planiscapus ‘Niger’

Ophiopogon planiscapus ‘Niger’ remains a reliable favorite for modern garden and patio concepts thanks to its almost black foliage and strong contrast effect. This grass-like perennial immediately adds depth and structure when combined with lighter flowering perennials and ornamental grasses. Especially at this time of year, the dark foliage creates a powerful visual contrast within fresh spring and early summer presentations.

Available in P9.

FAQ:

How should I make my order?

Complete the "order" column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details, and the expected date of receipt of the order - this will help us plan work in the nursery.

When will my order be confirmed?

Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours (working days). If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.

When can I pick up my order?

We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April - 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from week 37 (2025) to week 18 (2026).

I'm a new customer, when do I have to pay?

We accept cash payments, credit cards, and bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
