Decorative all year round
Recently, we have been frequently moving around the city and observing the greenery along the streets. Apart from the fabulously colorful perennial flowerbeds and ornamental grasses, which are entering their period of greatest attractiveness, our attention is drawn to dogwoods. And it is to the latter that we are devoting today's newsletter.
Cornus alba is one of the most popular species used in urban greenery. It is decorative all year round - in winter it stands out with its colorful shoots, in spring it blooms intensively and attracts pollinating insects, in summer and autumn it delights with its colorful leaves. It has no special habitat requirements, can grow in the sun and shade, tolerates cutting well, and is completely frost-resistant.
We are happy to inform you that in our offer you will find the most popular varieties of Cornus alba, including the beauties with colorful leaves 'Aurea', 'Elegantissima', and 'Ivory Halo'®.
Another group of dogwoods, well represented in our nursery, is Cornus sanguinea in three varieties, each of which causes winter dizziness when it presents its amazingly orange shoots 'Anny Winter Orange', 'Midwinter Fire', and 'Winter Beauty'.

During the exhibition, you will see our plants live, you will see how nicely they are branched and how well rooted. You will confirm that they are healthy, plump, perfect for further production, or, in the case of those in containers larger than P9, ready for sale.

The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- P14, C2 -> 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety

FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the "order" column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details, and the expected date of receipt of the order - this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours (working days). If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April - 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from 09-09-2024 till 03-05-2025.
I'm a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments, credit cards, and bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
