Flower festival in various colors
Large flowers with a diameter of 20-30 cm. Single, semi-double, or full. Amazing colors. Strong shoots. Long, compound leaves. These are the strongest decorative aspects of Paeonia suffruticosa (tree peony), the main character of today's newsletter.
Paeonia suffruticosa, an Asian beauty that thrives in Europe, is a long-lived and extremely decorative plant. It does not like replanting and the longer it grows in one place, the more abundantly it blooms. In May-June, the sumptuous specimens turn into a flower festival in various colors - white, shades of pink, red, yellow... everyone will find a variety in their favorite color.
What should you remember when offering Paeonia suffruticosa to your customers?
- plants do not like replanting, and the time spent choosing the optimal place will certainly pay off
- peony likes sunny or slightly shaded places, sheltered from the wind
- the soil should be fertile and well-drained, peonies do not like excess water
- in regions where temperatures drop below -20°C, plants require covering (with age, their frost resistance increases)
- tree peony begins to bloom a few years after planting.
The good news is that Paeonia suffruticosa in the most sought-after colors: pink, purple, red, white, yellow, and black (the last ones in limited quantities) is still available on our offer!
Plants are available in C2 containers, planted in winter with bare roots. They are not fully rooted, so we pack them extremely carefully for transport so that they reach you in good shape.
