The trade shows season is over. Thank you to everyone who visited our stands.
We enjoyed every talk we had.

Quick update from the nursery: the calendar of shipments fills up faster, the fields become empty, every day the list of available plants is getting shorter.
And soon our newsletters will also be very short ;)

Rhododendron C3 and C4

Today I took the picture you can see in the header. Some of these beautiful Rhododendrons in C3 and C4 are still available. Christmas Cheer is starting to bloom, so if you want to attract the attention of customers - order and pick it up as soon as possible. It still has a lot of buds.
Other available varieties can be found in the attached list.

Cytisus

A not long time ago we published a series "make gardens beauty all year round". Today we're reminding one of the characters. Cytisus - brooms -not only looks like a broom but in the past, it was used as a broom.

  • Cytisus works great on sandy and acidic soil. Near our nursery, in Veluwe, the brooms grow together with the heathers. They are not only beautiful in spring but also a variation on the diet of the animals living there.
  • Cytisus usually grows where other plants have difficulty surviving. They are very well suited for strengthening slopes because of their deep-growing roots.
  • An interesting fact is that the brooms' seeds are extremely durable. They can survive for several dozen years waiting for favorable conditions for germination.
  • They are suitable for the 6b hardiness zone.

The flowers are attractive to bees!

We still have several varieties available - all are dense, well-branched and fully rooted - all in P9, at the price 0,65€. The pictures below were taken last year. Although this year the winter is warm, they are not blooming yet.

Cytisus praecox
Cytisus 'Vanesse'
Cytisus 'Andreanus'
Cytisus 'Firefly'
Cytisus 'Golden Sunlight'
Cytisus 'Goldfinch'
Cytisus 'Johnson's Crimson'

FAQ:

How should I make my order?

Complete the "order" column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order (autumn or spring) - this will help us plan work in the nursery.

When will my order be confirmed?

Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.

When can I pick up my order?

We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 3 weeks in advance. This will facilitate the timely, efficient and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.

I'm a new customer, when do I have to pay?

We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
