See what bee friends you can find in our offer:
The whole multi-colored collection of Berberis thunbergii - yellow, green, red, dotted. Spherical, columnar, branchy, creeping. We have varieties to satisfy everyone.
Remember about Buddleja, which blooms and smells and attracts insects (especially multicolored butterflies) with large inflorescences that can be up to 30 cm long. Buddleja, pruned in spring, has a nice shape and blooms profusely.
Cotoneaster. For bees, they work well in the form of ground cover, low-growing, such as the Cotoneaster dam. 'Major', 'Mooncreeper', Cotoneaster radicans 'Eichholz' or Cotoneaster suec. 'Coral Beauty', as well as the beautiful Cotoneaster lucidus, which is perfect for hedges, and shimmers in autumn with a riot of warm colors from orange to various shades of red.
Caryopteris cland. Gold Crest® whose blue flowers not only look attractive against the background of golden-yellow leaves but above all are a great source of food for bees from August to the end of summer.
Deutzia gracilis, which, sprinkled with white, fragrant flowers, looks fabulous, like a white fluffy cloud that has sat in a garden. Another beautiful white-flowered variety is Deutzia lemoinei. For color lovers, we still have a small quantities varieties with pink flowers:
Lavandula int. 'Phenomenal'PBR that looks and blooms ... well ... phenomenal! Silvery leaves and purple flowers as well as high health are its most important advantages.
A plant with wonderfully sunny flowers and thorny leaves, i.e. Mahonia aquifolium, which attracts insects in April / May, and then pleases the eyes with shiny leaves and navy blue fruits that appear in the fall (they can be used to make wine).
Physocarpus opulifolius - all varieties, both red-leaved (eg Little Angel, Little Devil), green-leaved (eg Little Greeny), and those with yellow leaves (eg Nugget).
The Spiraea japonica family gives us virtually endless possibilities for composing and applying. At the moment, we already have a very limited collection, because there are only three varieties available:
- Spiraea japonica 'Dart's Red', which grows to about 80 cm tall and has beautiful, bright flowers ranging from pink to ruby red.
- Spiraea japonica 'Golden Princess' with sunny yellow leaves and pink flowers, grows to about 50 cm.
- Spiraea japonica 'Odensala' has pretty dark green leaves and numerous pink flowers. It grows up to about 1 m in height and width.
More choices will appear in the new offer, which will traditionally be available in the summer.
Of course, our list includes incredibly beautiful Weigela varieties with large flowers, in which bees and bumblebees eagerly dive (up to the wingtips) and greedily drink their sweetness.
