Would you join it?
Recently in the Netherlands, there was a weekend of counting birds visiting our gardens and balconies. In the summertime, we want to organize a butterfly counting day (would you join?). To attract more birds, we have bird feeders, tasty, fat balls filled with nutritious seeds and nuts, and to attract butterflies, we propose ... of course the butterfly bush, i.e. Buddleja.
We still have a few varieties available!
The old, classic ones that always look good and allow you to create a butterfly, colorful corner, that is:
- dark and mysterious like the night rider 'Black Knight', which will look great in combination with
- lilac 'Ile de France' or
- 'Moonshine'PBR, with yellow leaves (like the wings of one of the Nymphalidae butterflies), will perfectly emphasize the intense, dark color of the flowers.
In addition, we have 'Pink Delight', 'Royal Red' and 'White Profusion', proven in various conditions, which will look magnificent together, in combination with plants with red or silver leaves, in monochromatic or contrasting compositions. The choice is your customers.
Also pay attention to the beautiful new varieties (see the photo in the header), i.e. Butterfly Candy®Lila Sweetheart and Little Lila, which reach a small size and work great in a smaller garden, on a balcony, or terrace.
And for those who cannot decide whether they prefer white or pink flowers, we have two suggestions:
- a variety with unique, funny, and deliciously laden flowers, i.e. 'Berries & Cream'®
- "tricolor" option, i.e. three multicolored varieties in one container.
