Sometimes culinary weekend experiences influence professional life.
And that's what's happening this time. Absolutely delicious summer pudding, made according to the original English recipe*, inspired us for today's topic because in our offer you will find all the
delicious fruits necessary to make this dessert!
Sweet, juicy fruits of raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries are a guarantee of culinary success. All are available with us. Summer, autumn, or miniature (
Rubus idaeus BonBonBerry® 'Yummy'PBR) varieties of raspberry, are ideal for growing on the plantation, vegetable garden, balcony, or terrace.
In addition, a bit of sour gooseberry, and figs for decoration, e.g. (miniature)
Ficus car. 'Little Miss Figgy' PBR... sounds very tasty, doesn't it?
Importantly, some of the ingredients of the summer pudding can act as a decorative or collectible plant, e.g. raspberry with yellow leaves and juicy red fruits, i.e.
Rubus idaeus 'Groovy'PBR, or raspberry with yellow fruits
Rubus idaeus 'Golden Bliss'.
Still little appreciated, but very tasty
Ribes 'Jostaberry', which combines the best of currants and gooseberries.
American blueberry, which in our opinion is a great proposition for retail sale, i.e.
Vaccinium cor. 'Flamingo® with pink leaves and tasty fruits. Or blueberry with green leaves and pink, aromatic fruits
Vaccinium cor. 'Pink Blueberry'. And a pineapple-flavored strawberry with white fruit and red seeds
PINEBERRY 'Snow White'.
Almost forgotten... of course,
Actinidia, a creeper that, when planted as a climbing plant, grows quickly, covers what it is supposed to cover, and in late summer / early autumn will provide tasty fruit - mini-kiwi with smooth, edible skin.
Check out all options! Or maybe you will prepare special "summer pudding" sets for your customers, which will include fruit plants ideal for this purpose?
