Physocarpus impresses with its vivid and strong colours!
Today, the day after King’s Day, when the Netherlands turned into an orange sea, we are still in a colourful mood.
That is why today’s topic is Physocarpus, which impresses with its vivid, strong colours and ease of care.
Since we recently counted the plants in the fields, we are happy to let you know that we still have a collection that will satisfy the most demanding lovers of this plant.
If your customers want to brighten up their spaces and add a sunny glow to them, offer them Physocarpus opulif. ‘Dart’s Gold’ or ‘Nugget’. If they want to add character to them, like contrasting combinations, then pay attention to Physocarpus opulif. ‘Lady in Red’PBR with beautiful, dark leaves. All available in P9 and P14 containers.
From the dark varieties we still offer (only 250 pieces in P9 and 80 in P14) Physocarpus opulif. ‘Red Baron’ and ‘Schuch’ (about 300 pieces available).
For those who appreciate warm colors and are looking for calmer colors, we still have about 300 pieces of Physocarpus opulif. ‘Diable d’Or’®Mindia Pbr. The variety grows to 1.5-2 m high, and the young leaves have a shade of red-golden amber, turning red over time.
As usual, it is difficult to list and describe all the beautiful plants that are still available. It is best to familiarize yourself with the attached list. Please note that thanks to the recount of plants, species, and varieties that disappeared some time ago have reappeared on the list.

The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- P14, C2 -> 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details, and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours (working days). If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from 09-09-2024 till 03-05-2025.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments, credit cards, and bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
