Birch Trees Bring Positive Energy!
We’re pleased to announce that we have a selection of birch trees available in our nursery, ready for sale, transplantation into larger containers, or planting in the ground.
Currently, we have several varieties in different sizes:
- Betula nana (Miniature Birch): This spreading shrub reaches about 1-1.5 m in height and features small, round leaves. Available in P9 containers.
- Betula pendula ‘Golden Obelisk’: This variety grows to around 10 m tall and 4 m wide, showcasing golden-yellow leaves. The younger shoots have brown bark, which matures into a stunning silver-white color, featuring a smooth texture that peels off attractively. Available in P14 containers.
- Betula pendula ‘Spider Alley’pbr: This unique variety has whimsically twisted shoots and leaves, growing to heights of 4-5 m after about 10 years. It remains visually appealing in winter, even when leafless, and the shoots are excellent for use in flower arrangements.
- Betula utilis jacquemontii: Renowned for its striking chalky white bark and appealing shape, this variety features shoots that grow from the trunk at sharp angles. It is one of our favorites, especially when planted in groups. Available in P14 containers.
Birch trees are extraordinarily tolerant, thriving in light soils and displaying resilience to low temperatures.
For those interested in the symbolic meanings of plants, we have delightful news: birch trees are regarded as extremely positive.
In ancient Rome, birch branches were used to create wedding torches, symbolizing happiness and prosperity for newlyweds. In various cultures, birch brooms were placed by doorways to ward off evil spirits. Moreover, birch symbolizes life and death, beginnings and endings, as well as youth and vitality.
Spending time among birches is said to promote calmness, strengthen resolve, and alleviate feelings of depression. They enhance intuition and creativity, making it easier to make sound decisions and embrace new challenges.
We encourage you to include birch trees in your offerings—not only are they beautiful, but they also carry a rich combination of positive and magical significance.
