There is a place for a Christmas tree everywhere
In the Netherlands, in a month, there will be a Christmas tree in almost every home. Small or large, generously decorated, or in a version that emphasizes its natural beauty.
On the desk, on the kitchen table, on the fireplace (though not, it’s too warm there), on the window sill, on the cupboard … there is a place for a small, natural, Christmas tree everywhere. Even such in P9. There is still time to order, pick up* and offer to customers.
Here is a list of mini-version Christmas trees you can find in our offer:
- Picea gl. ‘December’PBR and Picea gl. ‘Rainbow’s End’ – nice, with a conical shape
- Taxus media – maybe less traditional in shape, but in beautiful, dark green, which in combination with red and gold, will be an elegant element of the Christmas decor
- Thuja occ. ‘Smaragd’ – nice, conical and intense green.
- Thuja occ. ‘Totem Smaragd’PBR, with a rounded top and finer needles.
For a less typical Christmas decoration, we definitely recommend the chaotic, original Thuja pl. ‘Whipcord’ which is available in P9 and C2 containers.

* We sincerely encourage you to pick up your orders in the fall!
It is much calmer with you and with us, it only takes a few days to prepare the plants. In winter, when there is a little less work in the nursery, plants can be safely transplanted into larger containers. And they will be ready for sale in early summer.
The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- P14, C2 -> 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details, and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours (working days). If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from 12 September 2022 till 12 May 2023.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments, credit cards, and bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
