GrootGroenPlus and the best plant novelties
From Wednesday to Friday (5th to 7th Oct) we will be in Zundert at the GrootGroenPlus trade fair (stand G108).
We cordially invite you to come and see for yourself the quality of our plants. You will see how well they are branched (we cut them at least twice a season), and how dense and healthy their root system is. See for yourself that our plants in P9 or P12 are a great material to replant into a larger container (eg C3 or C5) and offer to customers who are looking for larger plants.
This year’s 32nd GrootGroenPlus trade fair will be an opportunity to recall 32 plant novelties introduced to the market in recent years.
We checked and among the distinguished plants, we still offer 4 of them (the rest are sold out, some of them will be available again next year):
- Ligustrum ovalifolium ‘Josalig 1’ (Green Diamond) is characterized by a compact, dense habit and a healthy, elegant appearance. It compacts well and can be shaped into sophisticated geometric shapes or neat hedges.
- Magnolia ‘Genie’ is dense and compact and looks more like a shrub than a tree. It blooms in spring and often continues blooming in summer. Dark, almost maroon flowers appear after spring frosts.
- Pyracantha coccinea ‘Red Star’ with numerous, expressive red fruits that keep their color even after Christmas! It blooms and bears fruit on two-year-old shoots. It has significantly fewer thorns than other firethorns.
- Spiraea betulifolia ‘Tor Gold’ is a nice, dense shrub. Young leaves are greenish-yellow, with time they take on a warm, intense yellow color. In autumn, they turn cream, salmon, and orange to red. In May-June, white flowers appear.

The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- P14, C2 -> 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details, and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours (working days). If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from 12 September 2022 till 12 May 2023.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments, credit cards, and bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
