“Dessert” varieties of Potentilla. Week 10

Today, exceptionally, we invite you to…
an exquisite dessert in the garden version. Potentilla f. Creme Brulee ™. Its double vanilla flowers contrast beautifully with the dark green leaves from June to fall. As befits Potentilla, it has low requirements and likes sunny positions. Spring pruning stimulates the production of new shoots and more abundant flowering.
Potentilla f. Creme Brulee ™ is one of the three “dessert” varieties we produce at the nursery. The others are Potentilla f. Citrus Tart ™ (we currently have 89 available) and Potentilla f. Lemon Meringue ™ (coming again next season).
To emphasize the sunny days of summer, we propose Potentilla, which, in Italian, we can describe with only one word… “bella”, means beautiful…
Potentilla f. ‘Hendlin’® Bella Lindsey is one of the most beautifully colored yellow varieties. They turn a warm yellow-orange shade in late autumn.
Have a look at another beauty. Potentilla f. ‘Glamor Girl’®, initially has flowers of a warm, ripe peach color, which turn pink with time and are decorated with a darker border. They look very stylish … and well … they’re glamorous!
In addition to the varieties mentioned above, we also have (in small quantities), ‘Pink Paradise’ PBR, ‘Bella Apple’®, ‘Katherine Dykes’.

We kindly remind you that the loading calendar fills up very quickly. That’s why we’re suggesting you book your loading date asap.
We know from experience that March and April will be intense. Therefore, book a convenient date for collecting plants today. You will have them on time when you want.
Take 3 simple steps and book the date of loading of your plants
- Write to us (info@hoogenraadplant.nl) or call us (+31 (0)318 57 1665) – preferably 2-3 weeks before the planned pickup.
- Provide the day (week) you want to pick up your order.
- We will confirm as soon as possible!
Do you have a problem with arranging transport?
Please let us know as soon as possible. We work with several proven carriers, so you can count on our help.
The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- C1.5, C2 – 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from September 2021 to mid-May 2022.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
