There is an opportunity. For growers and garden centers.

A fantastic cross between raspberry (Rubus idaeus) and blackberry (Rubus fruticosus), which produces sweet and aromatic fruit, large and firm. It bears fruit abundantly – from one plant you can collect up to 4 kg of fruit*, 4 cm long. Which melt in your mouth when eaten fresh and add character to any desserts.

Rubus Tayberry

It grows quickly, has no special requirements, is strong and healthy, doesn’t require spraying. Frost resistant down to about -18 ° C. In colder regions, it requires covering or cultivation undercover. It bears fruit on two-year-old shoots.

Tayberry has large, dark red or maroon fruits that ripen from mid-July to late August. They are perfect as a fresh summer dessert, in addition to cakes, ice cream, smoothies. We can process them into jams, confitures, juices, and syrups or freeze them to keep their aroma for the winter months.
Importantly, fruits contain a lot of vitamins, especially vitamin C, which stimulates our immunity. They provide iron that is necessary for the proper transport of oxygen in our bodies. Iron is part of our “protective shield” against infections and helps maintain good mental and physical conditions.

Add Rubus Tayberry to your offer and help your customers stay healthy and beautiful.

P.S. Failure to place an order for Rubus Tayberry P9 may result in the fact that we will establish a plantation of these fantastic fruits and … in two years we will sell them. At much higher prices than the current 0.90€ per plant 😉

ces

In addition to Rubus Tayberry, a fruit giant perfect for plantations and larger gardens, we have something for owners of balconies and terraces. A miniature raspberry, Rubus idaeus BonBonBerry® ‘Yummy’PBR, which, although it grows to only 50 cm in height, bears fruit abundantly from summer to late fall. It can grow successfully in a container.
There will be a place for it on every sunny balcony. Frost-resistant, it bears fruit on this year’s shoots.

* you have to pay almost 18.00€  per kilo of blackberries in a Dutch supermarket! For retail customers, 4 kg of delicious, fresh fruit harvested from their own bush is a pleasure on which they can save over 70.00€.

The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:

FAQ:

How should I make my order?

Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.

When will my order be confirmed?

Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.

When can I pick up my order?

We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from September 2021 to mid-May 2022.

I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?

We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
