Fresh, aromatic, and juicy…
The best fruits are those that we collect directly from the bush, whether on the plantation, in the garden, or on the terrace.
For producers of soft fruit and for your retail customers, we have several tasty suggestions:
- Kiwi (Actinidia deliciosa) and mini kiwi (Actinidia arguta). Actinidia arguta bears fruit even in cooler climates, has large and tasty fruits. From one plant you can collect up to 20 kg of fruit!
- Blackcurrant – Ribes nigrum ‘Titania’, with numerous, sweet fruits, delicious as fresh and in the form of aromatic jams and juices. It’s frost-resistant and the fruit can be picked mechanically.
- Blackberry – Rubus fruticosus and raspberry – Rubus idaeus in varieties – good, proven varieties, reliable in fruiting. They all have tasty and aromatic fruits. ‘Groovy’ PBR additionally has attractive golden leaves. ‘Yummy’, a tasty miniature, is perfect for pots on terraces and balconies.
- Rubus ‘Tayberry’ with dark red juicy fruit that can be up to 4 cm long (you can harvest up to 4 kg of fruit from one adult plant!). You can find more about this plant and some ideas on how to use the fruit deliciously in our leaflet – click here.
- American blueberry – Vaccinium corymbosum in 19 varieties – perfect for plantations and retail customers. Proven varieties, which we know that bear good and tasty fruit, and also look interesting, for instance ‘Flamingo’ with pink spotted leaves (only a few hundred pieces left).
- strawberries – Fragaria and PINEBERRY ‘Snow White’ – white strawberry with pineapple flavor. All delicious, all juicy, amazing as fresh, and in the form of various desserts.
We deliver all fruit plants in P9 and P12 containers. They are all well-branched, because from the very beginning, from the multi trays, we regularly prune them. We start deliveries in September when we are sure that the plants are well-rooted in the containers.
You can safely plant them in the ground or replant them to a larger container immediately after delivery.

The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- C1.5, C2 – 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from September 2021 to mid-May 2022.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
