They are gone…
The three varieties of Buddleja we offered just a week ago. They are gone. Disappeared in just a few days. While there are still 23 varieties of these beautiful plants on today’s list, you’d better hurry up. And send your order asap.
In the Netherlands, everyone says we have to plant butterfly-friendly plants (and other insects as well). Anyway, who doesn’t like butterflies? Their delicate, subtle, and sophisticated beauty and elegance? Colors and harmonious movements?
That is why Buddleja, butterfly bush, enjoys great popularity among retail clients. Everyone wants to contribute to saving these wonderful creatures. And everyone wants Buddleja in the garden or on the terrace.

All 23 varieties of Buddleja are available in P12 containers, plus:
- Flower Power in P9 (just over 2000 plants left)
- tricolor in C2

4 facts about butterflies that you may not have known:
- The largest butterfly in the world lives in New Guinea. The wingspan is about 280 mm, the bodyweight exceeds 25 g (which is as much as 10 green olives without pits or 5 teaspoons of sugar). The largest butterfly in Europe has a wingspan of 14 cm and weighs about 10 g (2 teaspoons of sugar).
- Butterflies can travel several thousand kilometers
- The fastest butterfly flies at about 50 km / h
- Butterfly record holder makes 300 beats per minute with wings, moth – 5000 beats
The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- C1.5, C2 – 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from September 2021 to mid-May 2022.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
