Today a few words about conifers because we still have 20 items on the list.
Several of them are available in just a few dozen, for example, Juniperus ch. ‘Blue Alps’, Juniperus virginiana, Picea fl. ‘Rainbow’s End’ or Thuja occ. ‘Joska’.
But there are lines available in larger quantities as well!
- Cedrus deodara – one of the most beautiful conifers with needles of different lengths, from 2 to 6 cm. It grows large, so we recommend it for large gardens and parks.
- Chamaecyparis pisifera ‘Baby Blue’, a miniature version of the popular ‘Boulevard’. She came to us from Australia, it grows slowly and after 10 years it reaches only 50-70 cm in height. It looks beautiful in a bed, among plants with darker leaves or needles, in groups, and in containers.
- Picea glauca ‘Conica’ (pictured in the header) and Picea glauca ‘Conica December’ which is naturally dense and shapely and grows faster than ‘Conica’.
- Pica glauca ‘Super Green’ with a compact habit and bluish, rather soft needles. Perfect for smaller gardens and as a “Christmas tree” for the next holidays.
- Platycladus or. ‘Aurea Nana’, a beautiful golden dwarf thuja with dense shoots
- Sciadopitys verticillata in C2 – we still have 125 available!
- Thuja occ. ‘Little Giant’, which is one of the nicer spherical thuja varieties with intensely dark green shoots. Looks great when planted along a path or driveway, as a low, unformed hedge, and as part of the moorland and terrace plant.
- Thuja occ. ‘Smaragd’, which needs no introduction
- Thuja plicata, long-lived (can live over 100 years and it looks like this – CLICK HERE) and very showy thuja. It looks great when planted individually in a large space. It will also work well as a regularly trimmed line.
The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- C1.5, C2 – 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from September 2021 to mid-May 2022.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
