Autumn shipments and more
It has begun… the first shipments of ordered plants are already at our customers’ disposal, and the first empty spaces appear in the fields. Picking up in the fall is the best solution if you want to limit the number of spring tasks and have time for a calm winter potting into larger containers.
If you are interested, we still have free fall pickup dates. And if you need help organizing transport, we are here to support you, as we have been cooperating with proven carriers for years.
As for the plants we recommend this week, pay attention to the Physocarpus collection, which allows you to create interesting compositions and offers great design possibilities.
For low borders, high hedges, as color accents, and as an element of large or smaller plantings. We have a sufficient selection of varieties to meet the various design needs of your clients.
For those who like dark, strong colors that look beautiful with shades of gray or pink, we recommend Physocarpus opulif. ‘Andre’, Physocarpus opulif. ‘Red Baron’ or Physocarpus opulif. ‘Schuch’.
And if someone wants to add a sunny glow and brighten up the surroundings, we will definitely suggest Physocarpus opulif. ‘Nugget’.
For those who want to decorate a small space, such as a patio or terrace, we will suggest Physocarpus opulif. ‘Little Joker’® or Physocarpus opulif. ‘Spicy Devil’™ which, thanks to its small final sizes, will save us the work of trimming and “keeping it in check”.
In the case of Physocarpus, in addition to the features mentioned above, remember that they bloom beautifully in spring, and in autumn they are decorated with vesicular fruit and expressively discolored leaves.
So… don’t wait too long, check the list, and send your order.

The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- P14, C2 -> 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details, and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours (working days). If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from 11-9-2023 till 24-5-2024.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments, credit cards, and bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
