Why is it worth growing blueberries on a large or small scale?
The blueberry fruits have a positive effect on the work of the whole organism, improve eyesight, help lower cholesterol and prevent disease. They contain the necessary micro and macro elements, such as calcium, phosphorus, and potassium. They are not very caloric, so they can be eaten by people who try to lose weight. The fruit tastes delicious as fresh or as an addition to desserts (ice cream, cakes, cocktails) and in the form of jams.
Blueberry is a self-pollinating plant but if you want to increase crops by up to 50%, plant different varieties of blueberries, but with a similar flowering date. Cross-pollination increases the yield and quality of the fruits.
Highbush blueberry is pollinated by bees and bumblebees, so it is worth placing a few hives near our plantation.

Tip
The minimum order for P9 plants is 80 plants per variety. Due to the fact that we pack 40 P9 plants in 1 box, we recommend ordering multiples of 40: 80, 120, 160 … to make the best use of the loading space.
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 3 weeks in advance. This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
