Everything starts to bloom in the nursery and gardens. Among others:
Chaenomeles
pink, white, salmon, orange, red. As for me, they are one of the most important decorative elements of spring gardens. But their beauty it’s not their only advantage. In the autumn you can collect the fruits (preferably after the first frosts) and add them to the tea to make it more aromatic or to cakes (have a slightly tart, sour taste, which well highlights the sweetness of pastry). You can make jams, jellies, compotes, juices, wines or liqueurs. It’s worth to pay more attention to these plants because the fruits are very beneficial for our health – they contain several times more vitamin C than a lemon, and a number of other vitamins and minerals.
If you are looking for plants that are not on our list, write about it in the email, we will help you find them. More details: download our latest list, make your order.
