Irreplaceable in autumn…
The beginning of September is a time for us not only for exhibitions (our team is already in the UK and is preparing a stand for the Four Oaks fair, details below) but it’s also the time for the first shipments of ordered plants (next week!) and our ornamental grasses show their full beauty.
Whenever we go to a field with ornamental grasses, we cannot get over the admiration for their diversity and multiplicity of uses.
About diversity – from miniature, ideal for balcony boxes, through medium-sized, perfect for garden discounts and urban greenery, to over two-meter giants that perfectly act as a hedge.
Colors? Here you go – from vivid green, through cool blue, to fiery red and sunny yellow.
The interest in ornamental grasses has not decreased for several years. And it is hardly surprising because they do well in different positions and different soils (from sandy to waterlogged). They do not require many care treatments, they can be used as a seasonal decoration or an autumn eye-catcher of permanent plant compositions.
Modern, naturalistic, and classic.
Their effortless elegance makes them delightful everywhere, especially now that you can see their fluffy inflorescences and the shoots gently sway in the wind.
Personally, we are fans of compositions in which ornamental grasses and perennials meet.

Four Oaks (UK)
On September 5 and 6, we will participate in the 51st edition of the Four Oaks fair. The organizers promise that this year’s exhibition will be bigger and better, with an exceptionally wide range of exhibitors and even more interesting industry content and plant novelties. We invite you from 9:00 to 17:00 (Wednesday to 16:00).

The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- P14, C2 -> 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details, and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours (working days). If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from 11-9-2023 till 24-5-2024.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments, credit cards, and bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
