Simple solution, fantastic result
Just as a painting needs a frame, a garden and flower beds need a border or a hedge. To add character, to cut off the street noise, to diversify, and to encourage birds to live in our neighborhood.
Depending on the conditions and needs, we offer various solutions.
A flower revelation loved by bees
Lavandula intermedia Phenomenal (‘Niko’PBR).
With wonderfully silver leaves. In the field, we can see from a distance the beds on which Phenomenal stands, because they are silver like the surface of a lake in the moonlight. How does it look like when it blooms? Look at the photos.
Phenomenal blooms from early summer until autumn. It grows up to about 70 cm in height and width, so it beautifully complements flower beds, fills a narrow space in front of the house or a green belt next to the sidewalk. Wherever it is sunny and not too wet.
A more humid soil?
Choose Hydrangea arborescens Candybelle® Bubblegum (‘GRHYAR1407’PBR) or Marshmallow (‘GRHYAR1406’PBR)
Both grow to about 80 cm in height and 90 cm in width. Both bloom profusely and willingly on this year’s shoots. Marshmallow has large salmon-colored inflorescences and nice green leaves. Bubblegum – pink flowers and brownish leaves.
We can plant them separately, we can plant them together. They will look great in both versions. They like sunny places and regular watering.
Something for the winter
We can confidently combine Thuja occidentalis ‘King of Brabant’ PBR with hydrangeas.
In summer, its nice, green shoots emphasize the color of hydrangea flowers. In winter they are decoration themselves and protect us from cold winds.
Besides, Thuja King of Brabant has several important advantages:
- grows fast (even faster than “normal” Brabant),
- thickens itself and maintains a compact, narrow habit
- handles the pruning well, but pruning is not necessary for it to look nice and elegant. Perfect for anyone who doesn’t like to trim their hedges too often!
The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- C1.5, C2 – 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from September 2021 to mid-May 2022.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
