Structure that sells: The Acer palmatum assortment made to standout!

Acer palmatum remains one of the strongest ornamental lines for adding structure, foliage contrast, and seasonal interest to the premium assortment. This selection combines finely cut laceleaf varieties with upright red-leaved forms, giving buyers a broad visual range within one recognizable species.

Six standout Japanese maples:

1. Acer palmatum ‘Dissectum’
A classic laceleaf Japanese maple with a low, mound-forming habit and finely cut green foliage. It brings soft texture and a strong autumn finish, making it a reliable choice where shape matters as much as colour. Available in C2.

2. Acer palmatum ‘Emerald Lace’
A vigorous laceleaf Japanese maple that adds movement and freshness to the assortment with bright green, feathery foliage. Its arching, mound-forming shape gives this variety a lighter look within the Japanese maple range. Available in P9.

3. Acer palmatum ‘Inaba-shidare’
A strong red dissectum variety with arching branches and deeply divided foliage. The dark purple leaf colour gives this cultivar real depth in the assortment, while the autumn finish adds extra seasonal value. Available in C2.

4. Acer palmatum ‘Orangeola’
This variety stands out for its changing foliage tones through the season and its finely cut, cascading appearance. Orange-red spring growth, a red-green summer phase, and a brighter autumn finish make it a strong colour-story variety for buyers building contrast into the Acer bench. Available in C2.

5. Acer palmatum ‘Skeeter’s Broom’
A narrow, upright Japanese maple that brings a different silhouette to the range. Its red spring foliage matures to deep purple-red before turning ruby-red in autumn, giving this cultivar strong value for buyers looking beyond the broader dissectum forms. Available in C2.

6. Acer palmatum ‘Trompenburg’
A well-known upright selection with narrow lobes and characteristically recurved leaf margins. The deep red-purple spring foliage and more architectural leaf shape make it a dependable anchor variety in any Japanese maple assortment. Available in C2.

FAQ:

How should I make my order?

Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details, and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.

When will my order be confirmed?

Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours (working days). If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.

When can I pick up my order?

We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from week 37 (2025) to week 18 (2026).

I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?

We accept cash payments, credit cards, and bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
