And what do you like Weigela for?
Here are our arguments why we like Weigela for:
- beautiful flowers attractive for bees and bumblebees (we love to watch them diving into the trumpet-shaped-flowers)
- numerous flowers with an interesting shape and many colors
- long flowering
- the richness of leaf colors and the sizes achieved
- it’s easy-going in cultivation
We’re happy to say that we have a few more varieties in small quantities:
- Pink Poppet PBR (but only 15 pcs in C2)
- Sunny Princess (only 40 plants in P9)
- Bouquet Rose, Candida, and Ebony & Ivory about 100 pcs each
- Picobella Rosa PBR – a fairly new, dwarf variety that grows up to 40 cm in height and 60 cm in width. It blooms pink from May to October (looks like a pink cloud that has landed in the garden). It is frost-resistant up to -25 ºC. And very beautiful. Picobella Rosa PBR is available in P9, priced at 1.30 EUR.
Have you known that Weigela flowers have a bee guidance system?
A small orange spot on the inner surface of the lower petal indicates where the nectar is. The spot darkens with the age of the flower.

Tip
The minimum order for P9 plants is 80 plants per variety. Due to the fact that we pack 40 P9 plants in 1 box, we recommend ordering multiples of 40: 80, 120, 160 … to make the best use of the loading space.
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance. This will facilitate the timely, efficient and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
