A plant love story… by Weigela
We noticed that with the names of Weigela, that are available with us, you can write a story. Love story. Everything will be there, at least like in Ardensen’s fairy tales.
Princesses, princes, monsters, great love, devilish temptations, romantic dances …
Don’t believe it? Look at this:
Sisters – ‘Pink Princess‘ and ‘Sunny Princess‘ – lived in Weigela’s land. Both beautiful and full of charm.
One day, ‘Lime Monster‘ kidnapped them. The sisters were imprisoned. Fortunately, the ‘Red Prince‘, on his horse ‘Wings of Fire‘, went to their rescue. He was feeling a real ‘Big Love‘ to one of the sisters.
He didn’t listen to the prompts of ‘Lucifer‘. He was determined to complete his mission. He was blind for temptations, in the form of the pretty ‘Eva Rathke‘, ‘Evita‘ or ‘Suzanne‘. The ‘Red Prince‘ freed the princesses, it was the real ‘Victoria‘ over the ‘Lime Monster‘.
All of them happily came back home and a ball was held in the castle. Everybody was dancing the fiery ‘Rumba‘ and the full of old-fashioned charm ‘Minuet‘.
And now, seriously, we still have the full range of Weigela, with white, pink, and red flowers, green, yellow, orange, black, variegated leaves.
Weigela is irreplaceable in gardens and urban greenery. When it blooms (from June till the late autumn) it pleases our eyes and favors insects (bees and bumblebees love to dive into their colorful flowers). You can create any composition – low, high, in muted or contrasting colors.
3 weeks ago, when we sent you the offer for this season, we had 32 varieties. Today it’s only 21.

The minimum order depends on the size of the plants:
- P9 -> 80 pcs / variety
- P12 -> 75 pcs / variety
- C1.5, C2 – 50 pcs / variety
- C3 and bigger -> 25 pcs / variety
FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from September 2021 to mid-May 2022.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
