Only 3 weeks to pick up
Today we want to talk about lawns… Actually, about plants which can perfectly replace lawns.
The lawn is beautiful when well-kept. However, there are places and circumstances where the lawn looks … miserable. In the shade, in non-irrigated areas … Fortunately, we have ground cover plants that will perfectly replace the lawns:
- they look great all year round,
- they do not need to be mowed,
- they can do without specialist care,
- some of them will do great in the shade.
Here are our suggestions:
– Sarcococca hookeriana humilis, which is a modest evergreen shrub whose power lies in the small white flowers that appear from January to March. Their fragrance has amazing power … On the gray days of early spring, it brings to mind fabulously colorful gardens full of exotic flowers. In P9, for the price of EUR 1.00
– Euonymus fort. ‘Hort’s Blaze’ with nice round dark green leaves with lighter veins. It turns red in autumn. It is not afraid of shading, it does not require special care. Perfect for planting areas under trees and in public green spaces. Available in P9, 0.65EUR
– Lonicera nit. ‘Maigrün’ – great as a taller cover plant. It has small, dense leaves – the young are vivid green and contrast nicely with the older, dark green ones. Available in P12 and C1.5 (0.70 and 0.80EUR).
– Lonicera pileata – wide and very decorative with nice, vivid green leaves. Sometimes purple, spherical, tiny fruits appear. Perfect for the shade. Available in P12 and C1.5 (0.70 and 0.80 EUR)
– Pachysandra terminalis – an evergreen little shrub that does well in shaded and humid places. It has nice, healthy leaves and in April it is showered with white, delicate flowers. Available in P9 for EUR 0.65
More plants, not only ground cover, you can find in the attached list. Among them, such wonders as Fragaria, PINEBERRY, i.e. white strawberry with pineapple flavor, Picea pungens Super Blue Seedling, Weigela Picobella Rosa, Syringa vulgaris in varieties, Potentilla in varieties, Physocarpus, Hydrangea, Berberis, Aronia …
Plants from the current list can only be picked up for the next 3 weeks, so don’t hesitate!

FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance. This will facilitate the timely, efficient and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
