Last week we focused on conifers and hardly anyone noticed the gems at the very top of the list.
And right there, at the top of the list, you’ll find:
- Acer palmatum ‘Atropurpureum’ -a small tree with an openwork crown that grows up to 5-8 m in height. The fan-shaped leaves are dark red in summer, in autumn they acquire a warmer orange color.
- Acer palmatum ‘Emerald Lace’, whose green, lacy leaves turn into a living fire in autumn. Attention, only 178 left!
Dwarf Berberis thunbergii collection:
- ‘Anna’® is a dwarf, dense variety that grows to only 30 cm in height after 6 years. It has a compact, upright habit. The leaves are two-colored – sunny yellow in the center and orange on the edge.
- ‘Atropurpurea Nana’ is a well-known variety with the shape of a flattened ball that grows up to 60 cm in height and 1 m in diameter. Very dark, purple-brown leaves, crimson in autumn
- ‘Goldalita’ – spherical, miniature, and very dense variety with small, yellow leaves. Reaches 40 cm in height and 60 cm in width. Only 100 pieces left!

And some of the most beautiful late summer plants – delightful with the colors and scent of Buddleja in P12:

- Free Petite © Snow White PBR – currently the last available from the Free Petite © buddleia group, which bloom extremely long and reach a small size, which makes them ideal plants for balconies, terraces, and small gardens. Snow White blooms white and grows up to 75 cm in height and 60 cm in width. Other varieties in this series are Blue Heaven, Dark Pink, Lavender Flow, Tutti Fruitti – check the next year’s offer!
- ‘Pink Panther’ PBR with delicate, powder pink flowers that grows to about 120 cm high and 70 cm wide. Attention – only 75 plants available 🙂
- ‘Royal Red’ with impressive panicles (30-50 cm long) of full purple flowers with an orange eye. It grows up to 3 m in height, so we recommend it for larger gardens. Available in C2.
- ‘White Profusion’ – a known and proven variety with wonderful white panicles 30-50 cm long. Like ‘Royal Red’, it grows up to 3 m in height.
- ‘Dreaming Purple’® (only 75 plants left!) with hanging purple flowers. The three varieties from the Dreaming series (apart from Dreaming Purple, there are also Lavender and White) are only about 60 cm high and about 1 m wide. The inflorescences are about 30 cm long. They look beautiful in hanging baskets. Watch our next year’s offer!

FAQ:
How should I make my order?
Complete the “order” column in the attached Excel file and send it to info@hoogenraadplant.nl. Do not change the content of the file, just enter the number of plants ordered. In the email, provide the company name, contact details and the expected date of receipt of the order – this will help us plan work in the nursery.
When will my order be confirmed?
Every order we receive is confirmed within 48 hours. If during this time you do not receive an email from us, check your “spam” and “offers” or call us.
When can I pick up my order?
We adjust the dates of orders to meet your needs, so report the date of the planned collection 2 weeks in advance (February-April – 3 weeks in advance). This will facilitate the timely, efficient, and correct preparation of plants and their careful packaging.
Pickup of orders is possible from September 2021 to mid-May 2022.
I’m a new customer, when do I have to pay?
We accept cash payments or bank transfers to our bank account based on a pro forma invoice before picking up your order. Pre-payment includes 100% of the order value. After making the payment, please send us confirmation of the transfer because it accelerates the preparation of the plants for pickup.
