Picea orientalis ‘Aureospicata’ | LC1.5

A small tree (after 10 years it reaches 2.5 m high, 1.5 m wide) with a nice, narrow cone shape. Dense crown, not very regular. It grows slowly. After several dozen years, it can reach 10 m in height and 3-4 m in width. In June there are intensely yellow growths, beautifully contrasting with the dark green of older, shiny needles. It has low soil requirements but doesn't tolerate calcareous soils. It grows best on permeable soils with slightly acidic pH.
